The Nottingham Cricket Lovers' Society was founded in 1972 by Bomber Wells. Monthly meetings are held between September and April in the Trent Bridge Long Room. We currently have a membership of 80. The aim of the Society is to bring a little sunshine into the winter by gathering monthly to meet friends which we have made at Trent Bridge watching Nottinghamshire. We hold a quiz at each meeting, except for the Annual General meeting, for which we present the Denis Bland Trophy to the winners, who then hold it for one year. Denis Bland was our Chairman from 1972 until his death in 1997. He played a few matches for Notts as an amateur in the 1920s.
Fees are usually paid at the first meeting.
There is a charge of £2 per meeting for visitors.
